John Justice and Dee Hadorn with their high indexing Angora buck at the 2008 Sonora Buck Performance Test. We raise fine-haired Angora goats to produce beautiful mohair fiber. Wehave had the pleasure of competing our bucks at the Annual Texas A&M Angora BuckTest since 1993.  We have won the Mohair Council's Breeders Award (for high-indexing pen of 3)  five  times since 2000. Cerulean bucks have earned the high-indexing award there twice - in a field of 60 bucks each time.

Our Registered Anatolian Shepherds have 19 years of history at Cerulean Farm. Living, working, and protecting a large herd of Angora Goats, Saanen Dairy Goats, Angus Cattle, and auxilliary Tuxedo cats.

Our Saanen dairy goats provide milk, cheese and entertainment for the shepherds - two and four-legged.

Welcome to our web site. Please feel free to contact us with any questions you might have about our stock.

Working Anatolian Puppies

E-mail Print PDF

2009 began with a bang when Jasmine & Valiant  presented us with nine lovely purebred Anatolian Shepherd puppies.  Four are fawn with black masks (like dad).  Five are white pinto with gray/brown spots like mom. Two of Jasmine’s earlier pups are protecting their own Angoras here. These are Val’s first pups. Jasmine weighs about 110 pounds, Val about 130.

Valiant and Jasmine have good hips and protective temperaments.  They are currently working successfully with our Angora goats, Saanen dairy goats, Angus cattle, Morgan horses, and troop of serious mousers – mostly tuxedo cats.

If the pups are anything like their parents and siblings (who else could they be like??)  they will be tremendous working dogs.  Beauties all, the pups go back to our original 1990 & 1991 Anatolians:  Masallah Tess, Carter’s Dana, & Conard’s Golden Girl. Each was a distinguished, brave and long-lived livestock guardian who died in the barn or the goat pasture.

Up-to-date on worming and puppy shots, these pups are reasonably priced as working livestock guardians rather than breeding or show stock. Please phone us for more information on selecting the right pup for you.    405 356 2612  Central Time
